CuteFTP Configuration
Once you click on the Quick Connect button in CuteFTP version 1.8 (it's shaped like a
lightning bolt--
--),
you should see this screen:
Set up the fields as shown above, and you're good to go!
To configure CuteFTP version 4.0, first click on the Quick
Connect button. ------
Doing so will open another section of CuteFTP (seen below) in
which you can enter all of your information.
Type in "ftp.gwe.net" for the URL (seen above) and type in your User Name and Password in the fields provided. Then click on the Setup button shown above. Doing so will open the screen seen below. All you need to do is check to make sure that the Default Remote Directory field is blank, and that Normal is selected under Login type. Then click the OK button.
After doing this, you will be taken back to the main CuteFTP screen. To connect with us, you need to click the Connect button (it's just to the left of the Setup button and looks like a lighting bolt). Clicking on the Connect button is the last step in the process--you're now ready to begin FTPing!
